For ChatGPT, and Claude too

Host a site you made with ChatGPT, and keep changing it by chatting.

Yes, ChatGPT can put your website online and keep it updated, once it's connected to a host it can publish to. RunCabin is one: add https://runcabin.com/mcp to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server, and ChatGPT publishes your site to a free HTTPS address and changes it whenever you ask (“change the opening hours and publish it again”). Your own domain is $4.99 a month (or $47.99 a year) plus the domain's price, and ChatGPT never pays for you: it hands you a checkout link.

Connect ChatGPT once

  1. Open ChatGPT's connector settings

In ChatGPT on the web, open Settings and find where apps or connectors are added (it has been called Apps, Apps & Connectors and Plugins). If ChatGPT asks for it, turn on Developer mode under Advanced settings first.

  2. Add RunCabin

Choose Create (or Add custom MCP server), name it RunCabin, enter https://runcabin.com/mcp and choose OAuth. ChatGPT opens RunCabin's sign-in page: sign in with Google or email and click Authorize.

  3. Ask ChatGPT to put the site online

In a new chat, turn RunCabin on from the tools menu if ChatGPT doesn't pick it up on its own, then say “put my site online”. You get a live address like your-name.sites.runcabin.com.

  4. Keep changing it by chatting

Ask for any change and say “publish it again”. The same address updates. “Roll it back” undoes the last change.

  5. Put it on your own domain when you're ready

Say “put it on mybakery.com”. Your assistant checks the name and its price, then gives you a checkout link. You review it and pay: $4.99 a month (or $47.99 a year) for hosting plus the domain's price. DNS and the security certificate are set up for you.

If your ChatGPT plan can't add connectors

Custom connectors are not on every ChatGPT plan, and a workspace admin may have to allow them. You still have good options.

Questions

Can ChatGPT put my website online for me? How?

Yes, once it's connected to a host that accepts its changes. Add RunCabin to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server (https://runcabin.com/mcp), then say “put my site online”. ChatGPT publishes it and gives you the live address.

Is RunCabin an official ChatGPT app?

No. It's a custom MCP server you add yourself, and it isn't made or endorsed by OpenAI. It works the same way in Claude.

What can ChatGPT change on the site?

Anything on its pages: words, photos, colors, layout, new pages, a contact form that emails you. It changes the site only when you ask.

Is it free?

Yes, on a RunCabin address. Creating a site, publishing it and keeping it online at your-name.sites.runcabin.com costs nothing, with HTTPS, and there's no time limit. You only pay for your own domain: $4.99 a month (or $47.99 a year) for hosting plus the domain's price, both shown before you pay.

Can my AI assistant spend my money?

No. Your assistant can check a domain's price for free, but anything paid comes to you as a checkout link on RunCabin's own page. You review the order and pay yourself. The assistant never sees a card.

I made the site in a different chat. Can ChatGPT still publish it?

Yes. Paste the code into the chat where RunCabin is turned on, or ask ChatGPT to make the site again there, and say “put this online”.

Who owns the domain?

You do. RunCabin registers it for you so the setup is automatic, and if you cancel we release it to you with the transfer code.
